Chapters pack in many vintage black and white photos and diagrams to accompany a technical survey of bridge advancements and construction.

Like the rest of Ching's books, this one is great as well. I use it as a resource for Drawing and illustration classes in college. It covers all the basics of sketching and drawing that are important to build a foundation for free-hand drawing. It covers everything from basic shapes and textures to gesture drawing and proportion. I also recomend the book "Design Drawing" by F. Ching.

Gorgeous Prints! Great quality paper. I would buy it again or recommend it to a friend - or any fan of Ansel Adams. We're using them for our wedding RSVPs. I ordered 4 other postcard books and this is the only one that we're going to use. Enjoy!

"Ansel Adams : Thirty Photographs : A Postcard Folio Book" is a paperback book with 30 of Ansel Adams photographs as rip-out black and white postcards. His work is incredible. I have looked for an alternative to standard notecards for thank you notes, etc. for quite a while. I have found it with this book. It's a postcard/notecard that I feel good about sending. The photos are beautiful, serene and soothing. I'd highly recommend this book.

Must have for fans of the book.......2006-03-17
If you own the book, and love it as much as I do, then you'll definitely want to add these postcards to your collection. Most of them are photos from the book, but there are a few good new ones. I didn't use them as postcards, I hung all 30 of the photos up as a piece of art above my couch, and it gets more attention from my friends than anything else in my place. Nice to put in black frames and hang too, they look just like real framed photos. Just a thought. Anyway, they're cheap and great!
