The advanced airbrush book has many excellent examples as well as in depth step by step shots of how the artwork was done, using the more realistic styles of airbrush work with professional artists such as Hajime sorayama, an excellent book.

This book would have benefited from careful proof reading. The are many examples of incorrect captions and diagrams with crucial information absent. If the publishers are not willing to at least include an errata sheet this book could be a disaster for the novice!

Best basic how-to about photgraphy out there........1999-01-10

From pinhole cameras to modern autofocus, this is the best learning textbook available that I've seen. Easy to read and written in simple layman's terms, it can improve the pictures you take and simplify the science of light.

This highly original new book examines the scientific status of economics from the perspective of practicing economists. It studies how they evaluate their theories, the relationship between those theories and the phenomena they are intended to represent, and the philosophy, methodology and scientific credentials of economics. It examines the tension between economics as the logic of rational choice and as a predictive science, that is reason and reality respectively.

It surveys the five most influential schools of thought in the methodology of economics, with special emphasis on theory appraisal: logical positivism, instrumentalism, a priorism, scientific realism and rhetorical analysis.
