I was a personal friend of Sam's in fact a neighbor of his in Maryland for 6 years. I spoke with him a week before he passed away and he was telling me that Shakespeare's Identity was still an elusive subject for him and other scholars. He felt that his book ,William Shakespeare : A Compact Documentary Life, a lifelong pursuit was a good primer for beginners but that he felt incomplete about it and wished he had another life to make changes. This I found powerful as he was willing to be open about this and not be stuck in being an expert. Although his research in this book carries influence as authoritarian on Shakespeare's life , Sam up till the end of his life was convinced there had to be more. His publisher of course was unwilling to consider a new revised edition. But one thing Sam stressed over and over in the book as well that it was important for teachers who used his research to be careful in not telling students this was the absolute Gospel on Shakespeare's life.

Schoenbaum's book, which I have used to teach college courses for years, is rigorous and objective in its scholarship. He succeeds in separating the legend from the fact, and gives us the best possible view of the notoriously elusive "man who was Shakespeare." The text is eminently readable, and irresistably interesting.

                        For those of you looking for some nicely depicted lesbian content - in an illustrated comic book style format - then the `Liz & Beth' series is one you'll probably want to check out.

                        Liz and Beth are a pair of sexy friends. Liz, a blonde - is always getting herself into trouble. Beth is a gorgeous brunette - who always comes to Liz's rescue.

                        The focus of the first half is on Liz - so if you like blondes you'll probably enjoy the early action. The second half is about Beth - who gets it on erotically with guys, a slightly older woman, and Liz - and she always looks sexy doing so.

                        There isn't as much girl/girl action in this episode as in others I've seen. And Liz and Beth only get it on twice with each other, with Beth (the brunette) always finishing romantically on top - grasping Liz's jaw and kissing passionately down into her mouth.

                        The amount of smooching reaches a crescendo during the last three pages - where Liz and Beth kiss tenderly like lovers at least four times (expressing a side of their sexuality that all young women should enjoy).

                        The drawing style in this episode isn't as detailed as in others. But for a nice depiction of two cute babes - exploring all that their bodies have to offer (with both men -- and each other), this is about as hot as it gets! Don't miss out!

                        5 out of 5 stars Liz and Beth, the greatest political allegory? possibly.......2005-02-25

                        When i first picked up the text, i must be honest, i was expecting a book in the same tone of the authors other works. However i was pleasently surprised to find the book being small shiny glint of light in the murky warters of its peers. The story perfectly slots into it's 1940's German settings, and for me is a trully enlightened analogy for the Structuralist approach taken by historians and, in particular, the more modern stance that Ian Kershaw takes in his infamous "working towards the fuhrer" argument. One can only be surprised and amazed at the depth and sheer joy of this book, i can only say this it is second to watching the history channel

                        5 out of 5 stars Liz and Beth are so HOT together!.......2004-06-27

                        I really like the artwork on this series, but even more so the creative eroticism! This particular volume opens with our two beauties forced to stop for the night due to a blizzard in a remote French village. There are both cold and miserable and angry at eachother as they accept the hospitality of an aging count and his elderly maid, Marian. Marian prepares a hot bath for both girls, removing pretty blonde Beth's clothing before bathing her lovely body. Her intimate caressing and fondling of the much younger girl during the bath doesn't go unnoticed by an angry Liz, who later jealously confronts Beth about allowing the elderly maid to engage in such liberties. The two girls soon actually begin physically fighting, with Liz overcoming Beth and spanking her gorgeous derriere. They then make up and Liz then tenderly kisses the same lovely ass she'd been slapping! It was a wonderfully drawn scene!

                        Later we discover how the elderly count met Marian during the 1940 German invasion of France, but that very well-drawn scene paled in comparison with Liz and Beth's very erotic sub/dom encounter earlier. Highly recommended.

                            Wild Fibonacci is a beautifully illustrated book that introduces the reader the Fibonacci sequence and how it appears in nature. For those not familiar with it, the Fibonacci sequence is 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34 and so on where the next number is found by adding the two before is (e.g. 2 + 3 = 5, 3 + 5 = 8).

                            Author Joy Hulme starts with a clear and simple explanation of the concepts, giving the most common examples of where the Fibonacci numbers appear in Nature. Then, with pictures and rhyming verse aimed at the younger audience, she cleverly integrates the formula of the sequence (e.g. 2+3=5) with pictures of animals who have body parts (tusk, tooth, talon, or tail) that curves according to the spiral associated with the sequence.

                            The book is an excellent choice for parents wanting to instill a love of Mathematics in children because it shows its relevance by linking it to Nature. The rhymes stumble occasionally, but make up for it by being chock full of information for the inquisitive mind. The major shortcoming of the book is that it tries too hard to fit animal's shapes to the curvature of the "equiangular spiral" formed Fibonacci squares (shown in the book). The sea shells shown have a spiral pattern but clearly do not follow the equiangular spiral, an error that will not be lost on a bright young reader.

                            Altogether, the book is a wonderful addition to a child's library and is highly recommended.

                                      This monograph contributes to the existence theory of difference sets, cyclic irreducible codes and similar objects. The new method of field descent for cyclotomic integers of presribed absolute value is developed. Applications include the first substantial progress towards the Circulant Hadamard Matrix Conjecture and Ryser`s conjecture since decades. It is shown that there is no Barker sequence of length l with 13 <1 <4x10^(12). Finally, a conjecturally complete classification of all irreducible cyclic two-weight codes is obtained.

The abstract provided by the Pentagon follows: In this thesis, the design of a direct sequence - code division multiple access/binary phase-shift keying (DS-CDMA/BPSK) modem is examined. In this prototype modem design, a short maximal length sequence of 31 chips is used to spread the information data. The design can be extended to longer codes which would provide greater capacity and processing gain. The hardware used in the functional realization of a working design is also discussed, the preliminary operational characteristics of a spread spectrum BPSK modem are achieved. The multi-user performance analysis is conducted using Bit Error Rate (BER) test equipment (HP1645A). The development of the final version of the modem operating at radio frequency (RF) is not conducted, but proof of concept is provided.

In this design, a maximal length sequence of 31 chips is used to spread the information data. The multi-user performance analysis is performed by using Bit Error Rate (BER) test equipment (1645 Hewlett Packard data error analyzer). A multi-user interference cancellation circuit for two users is introduced, and measurements are performed to show its effectiveness. The design itself encompasses the selection of components and demonstrates that the preliminary operational characteristics of a spread spectrum DPSK modem scheme for CDMA application can be achieved.
