The price was great, shipping was fast, and the book is great quality. I don't recommend that you get it if you are under 18, as it contains adult content, but if you are 18+, this is a great table book :) I think my boyfriend is going to love it!

Sexy, stunning collection!.......2006-09-20

I bought this book recently because I am a huge fan of Octavio's work. In my opinion he is among the most talented pin up photographers around today - his work is sexy, colourful, and playful, completely lacking in pretension, with a flare for retro and modern themes. I recommend this book to anyone who loves beautiful women and quality photography. This is a real treat - no filler and a bargain for the amount of photographs you're getting.

Excellent, sexy, artsy book!.......2006-05-01

Came upon this book at the photographer's recent signing in LA and bought it for all the amazing work he has inside. His style is unique and makes you look twice, not your typical glamour wannabe. This is a good example of what a pinup book should be -- all pictures, no BS like blank pages or filler text. You get over 350 pages of pure eye candy, some naked, some not, but all the girls look hot. I was impressed by the variety of models and scenes he photographed while still keeping the signature "Winkytiki" feel. The sets and outfits alone are worth a look. You have shoots styled after every decade, color, black and white, classic, funky, rockabilly, retro. So there is something for everyone. Get this while you can!

A Tikibilly World of Erotica by the Third Krofft Brother.......2006-02-27

Image an insane Krofft Brother that only took pictures of rockabilly chicks, fetish demonesses, tiki vixens, and even Electra Woman in saucy poses that would melt your eyeballs.
Octavio is a leering, peering voyeur par excellance. I liked the comic book aspect to all the images as opposed to the sullen, bitter looks that many erotic models engage in. Octavio brings a cool, fun vibe to his erotica and all the usual dames like Julie Strain, Tera Patrick, Tall Goddess and many more are there for all the action.

I ordered this book solely on the basis that it contained pictures of Heidi Van Horne. (also the cover girl) When it arrived I was a little surprised to see that is was a rather diminutive book (195 MM X 145 MM)But THICK because it is FULL of great pictures of many models that specialize in this genre of modeling. Again, I was expecting a more "coffee table" format but regardless, I thoroughly like this book and think it's well worth it's reasonable price especially since there are over 365 pages of great pictures as well as a list of other books of this type.

I listened to this while driving and was instantly soothed by his detailed storytelling. He gives nice descriptions of events and enough detail to make you feel like you are there. He is reading letters that he has written to his children as they were growing up and capturing moments and slices of life. It made me want to start writing and capturing the moments in my children's lives before the memories that are so vivid now cloud over with time.

Marvelous pastoral advice.......2000-07-20

In this collection of letters written by Saint Francis de Sales, it's easy to see that people are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Saint Francis' gentle advice and counsel is as appropriate today as it was 300+ years ago. He clearly teaches his correspondents how to achieve holiness in whatever walk of life they find themselves in. Although a few of these letters are written to men and women in religious life, most are to ordinary laywomen (mostly) and laymen. Great spiritual reading!

The second book of letters published by Black Sparrow Press, this volume gives the reader a good idea of the goofyness and despair of a working-class life. Leavened with humour and insight, ranking with the great books of letters of 20th-century American literature. The denizens of Bukowski.net take heed: the moderator is a failed artist who yearns for respectability, but has found none. His criticisms of Bukowski's editor, John Martin, are unfounded!

You Can't Help But Love Him.......1998-12-09

To be honest, I still haven't finished this book. I keep it next to my bed for when I feel most alone. Try to keep the amounts I do read to a bare minimum because I never want it to end. This collection of letters captures so many sides of Buk: his business side, his harsh side; but also a great deal of his sensitive, sad, depressive-but-loving side, that is refreshing to see in any man, let alone one with such a weathered face. I just can't help but Love him.
