I have enjoyed the book. Although I thought it would be more useful in terms of designing graphics arts, not my house. This book provides insight to color theory based on emotions and feelings when walking into a room; therefore, I would suggest this book for those looking to do some interior decorating and designing; not necessarily for graphic arts.

I buy this book because the title is "The COMPLETE Color Harmony". There are so many other books about color on the shelf, but the word 'COMPLETE' really hit me. Altough i'm working in the design field but i found myself need more resources to this main subject, color harmony.

This book is great, it gives me new ideas of color harmony. I often use it for my projects. What i liked about this book is that they put 'Moods & Color' section in it. Powerful, rich, romantic, vital, earthy, friendly, soft, welcoming, etc....with other colours combinations too. 'The Psychology of color' also a great one too along with the 'Process color convertions chart'. This book is absolutely complete!

Great Photographs.......2000-03-25

This book is a great introduction for kids on the many different media artists use. The photographs are superb in their depiction of wonderful colors and sharp detail. A must have for both art educators and enthusiasts.

There is NO cd-rom inside. Yes, Nothing, not even a floppy disk !

What is the use of a book titled "Computer-Assisted" without any CD/disk ? Tell me !

They mention about the CD everywhere! From the front cover to back cover, book description, book content, their web site, etc. GOD, where is the CD?

I think this is not Amazon's mistake. The front cover and the back cover of the book clearly say "FREE CD-ROM INSIDE".

I will try to contact the Authors to see if they will give me the CD! I will post an update here if they do. Until then, please save your money, DON'T BUY THIS BOOK.

This smallish "text book" on sudoku is very well written,understandable, and guides one step by step into the maze of solving puzzles from the easiest to the fiendish! For one at the starting or middle stages of sudoku-puzzle solving, I recommend this book most highly. This is the first such book I purchased about soduku and it is the best I have read thus far!

Guide to Easy Sodoku.......2007-03-06

This guide is well organized and easy to follow. Mr. Wilson offers several puzzles for you to apply what you've learned as you go. But you can go only so far with this book. It's good for solving easy to moderately difficult puzzles, but for the harder puzzles you'll have to turn elsewhere. In fact, Mr. Wilson almost says as much: "Using these little numbers [the final technique he demonstrates] you should now be able to solve all but the most difficult puzzles." Instead of taking you all the way, Mr. Wilson points the way to other resources, in case you want "to hone your sudoku skills further." (He particularly recommends a newspaper article by Hugo Rifkind in "The Times" of 14 May 2005.)

Very basic book, only for beginners. Better books available.

Disappointing .......2007-02-01

I excel at logic games. I had hoped to learn something useful with this book. It advertises itself to be a step-by-step guide. However, about half way through the book, on page 33, it says, "Since you're now more familiar with the ideas, we'll give less explanation in what follows."

Then it proceeds to just give statements telling you that certain numbers belong in certain boxes of the exemplar puzzle, without telling you how the author arrived at that conclusion.

I would not recommend this book to anyone. It leaves a lot to be desired.

One of the best..........2001-10-20

I have been collecting Star Trek: TNG calendars for four years now, and this 2002 edition is definitely one of the better ones. The photos alone make it deserving of a five star rating. All three TNG movies are covered, as well as several episodes from the series' run. There is an individual photo of each character, some group shots and a fantastic Enterprise-D poster in the centre. I love the layout and the picture quality is great, but this calendar is probably more suited to display than for practical uses such as noting down appointments. As soon as the year is over I will be cutting the calendar up and using each page as a poster on my bedroom wall. This is definitely a must-have for all TNG fans.

The pictures are too small, the monthly calendar is too small and the words in boxes too big are a distraction. I hope for a better effort next year.

Beautiful Photos.......2001-08-27

I really like this calendar. I cut all the pages apart and now have each photo up as poster! Each picture is beautiful, and the layout of the calendar is great. Each large photo is placed on a starfield background and is framed with a purple neon-like tube. There are photos from TNG episodes like "Emergence" and "Gambit", and there are also photos from the movies Generations, First Contact, and Insurrection. The centerfold of the calendar is a beautiful photo of the Enterprise-D. If you can pick up this calendar used, do so, because it is one of the best.

Nice Photos. But No Room to Write Stuff!.......2001-01-02

I like the new 2001 edition with one exception. No room to write anything! I love the neon frame around each photo; however it would be nice to see some photos of Worf battling an enemy or Picard in an action scene. Even black and white photos near the daily calender content. The first Trek calenders had smaller pics by the grid. It was in one of the first classic calenders in 1976. I wish they'd liven it up a little with some smaller photos off to the side of the mothly head shot or in the calender writing area.

This Calender is Based on Star Trek: The Next Generation. I have been a Fan of Star Trek: The Next Generation since it's Third Season, and this Calender does the Show Justice. I love the Cool Pictures and the Layout of the Dates and Months. It's definetly worth Buying if you Like Star Trek, or For somone who Does like it!
