This book is good and raunchy. Maakies is not for everyone, but neither is cancer medication. Drinky Crow and Uncle Gabby get hammered, are offensive, sometimes don't make sense, and they're usually hilarious.

In this, the third and final (?) installment of the Martha Stuart parody trilogy, authors Tom Connor and Jim Downey unleash their preppy doppelganger on weddings. The results are predictably hysterical, with the Stepford caterer dominating every aspect of a Connecticut nuptial. This from the "Wedding Planner" (subtitled "Things I Insist You Remember"):

Hilarious stress-relief during wedding planning.......2007-07-05
I wasn't expecting too much from this book, but between the unexpected stress of my simple wedding and my true awe/suspicion of Martha Stewart's abilities, it just struck a chord (particularly the segment about silverware). I would highly recommend this book for any wedding party that is finding stress in the most insignificant aspects of their wedding.

This is one of the most fun books to pass around when your friends are over. It's great for humorus wedding gifts, showers and the like. Martha may not be quite the tower of perfection she once was, but sometimes it's fun to kick at (in this case, a formerly 'hot') dog when she's down. No harm done - lots of fun.

A friend bought this book for me as a joke because i like Martha Stewart so much. it is incredibly funny!its just like her magazine and books. id reccomend this book to anyone who either thinks martha is too much or loves her! id rate this book 5 "ha ha's"
Perfect comic relief for any bride-to-be!.......1998-08-27
This book is hillarious! It isn't written by the REAL Martha Stewart- it's a parody of her work. I loved the part where the bridemaids' dresses are purposely ordered several sizes too small :) Refreshing and a welcome relief from the weight of wedding planning, I think every bride-to-be should have a copy of this to see her through the most difficult stages of pre-wedding chaos. Even if you're not a bride, I'm sure anyone can relate to the comic situations that are so wonderfully illustrated and laughed at. :)

I think that there may be people that would like this book much more than I did. Biggest problem is that I expected more out of it. I did not research it enough and made a quick decistion.

This is a very generous and well presented collection of quizzes. It has given me many hours of fun. The book offers a nice variety -from general knowledge to special subjects, like dictators, scandals and disasters to picture quizzes to 50 question themed quizzes. There are some errors in the answer lists but, considering this book contains 10,000 questions and answers, not very many. I find trivia quizzes to be about not only knowledge (the more you know the better you do) but also thinking and memory. The questions I enjoy the most are the ones where I don't initially know the answer, but where the answer can be deduced through logical thinking. Another type that I really like are the ones where I have to search and massage my memory to get the correct answer. Yet another type of question that I enjoy are ones where I haven't a clue as to the correct answer, but that offer an intriguing bit of information. This book contains lots of all of the above. A quibble would be that there is perhaps too much attention paid to what I refer to as 'junk culture' -e.g. fluffy television shows, movies and performers, forgettable pop musicians, people famous for being famous, etc. For example, from the number of questions that have 'Kylie Minogue' as the answer, you might think she represented some kind of high-water mark of contemporary culture. All in all though, this is an entertaining book and well worth the money.

I have read everyone of Og Mandinos Books and all I can say is that he writes with brilliance, clarity, enthusiasm, and spirit. You can never go wrong with any of his books. He points out the path to success and motivates the spirit within to achieve all that we as human beings are capable. He helped me to tap into my innate genuis and create a life of prosperity and creativity. If you havent raed his books, start now and your journey of the spirit will begin. He was a born writer and even after his passing continues to have a great influence on many people old and young. He truly lived a purposeful and divine life. You've Got To Read This Book!.......2005-08-10
I'v read it before and getting ready to listen to the audio version (again). I was amazed at how Og captured my heart and kept me glued to the story.
You've just got to read this book! I went through the program in the book and it just totally changed my life. Og had a special gift. As his mother told him. She said "Not only will he be a writer but a Great writer" Indeed how right she was!
I have told many people about Og. He's my hero because he has shown me the love of God in a special way. Get the book. You won't be sorry. It can change your life as it has mine and sooooooo many others.

Wonderful and positive, I will make sure to read all of his other books. I am beginning to read, "Mission:Success" and am sure will enjoy it as much as this one. Og Mandino is very positive and serious when it comes to writing books. I recommend it to all others wanting to change their life positively. It sure has changed mine, and the way I think. Thanks Og.
