Asserting that, a universal harmony unified all things, John Whitney envisioned our future in his book Digital Harmony (1959), writing that:
"The future of Society: the way we communicate, learn and entertain ourselves lay in making pictures that move, images created by cameras and computers and displayed on a computer screen."

By the late nineteen forties, John and his brother Jim Whitney had already set themselves to the task of building our New World of Interactive Multimedia. Thirty years before audiences would be titillated by the strange electronic sounds of the MOOG synthesizer or pass through the "psychedelic Star Gate" of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, the Whitney's were experimenting with "artificial" music, accompanied by abstract images they created with an analog camera control system. A must have for any true Dragonball Z fan. This manga includes the original artwork and continues the amazing story of Dragonball. A must have for an Akira Toriyama fan (author of Dragonball & Dr. Slump) his work continues to inspire Manga and Anime alike all over the world.

Yet another fine chapter in Dragonball this integral part of the graphic novel collection continues the journey of Goku and his friends in their non-stop action adventure. Gotta collect em all!

My husband and I just got the first estimate from a contrator for a complete renovation of our kitchen. After the shock wore off, I decided my husband has to read this book. (I've read it before.) I was saddened that it is out of print. This is one of the best books I've read about dealing with home renovation ever. It will give you way more practical information about how not to lose your mind during a renovation than almost any home repair book I've read. I hope it goes back into print.

I have so many other books that I like so much better than this one that I never pick this one up anymore. I haven't used even one of their songs in my repertoir. I think anything by Madeline MacNeil or Lois Hornbostel would be a better pick.

a nice mix of all three tunings, one verse only of the songs, familiar songs. neat pictures of the 1890's Cripple Creek (Colorado), in which a couple of fires nearly destroyed the town.

Its as hard-boiled as James Ellroy, cool as Chow Yun-Fat and as weird as David Lynch and Clive Barker on a bicycle built for one. Lawyers, Guns and Money brings fans back to the pulptastic world of Unknown Armies created by John Tynes and Greg Stolze. Focusing on the Occult Underground's favorite billionaire Alex Able and his New Inquisition. What You Get- L,G & M gives a good mix of NPCs, neat gadgets and adventure hooks. As well as a good information for starting a TNI (The New Inquizition) campign. As well as to full length adventures. Why You Want It- Because TNI is proably one of the easiest ways to intorduce your players to the UA setting. As well as providing one a great tragic Shakesperean villian (Able wants to make a better world but is willing to cross any line to get it)?. Critism- Its a good sourcebook if a little sparse, I guess its a good sign that UA books leave me wanting more. But I could definitely use something with a little more meat, in case my players supprise me.

Gallo does a great job of distilling the important characteristics of successful presenters into simple, practical, easy-to-emulate bits of advice. I have found the book's format particularly convenient. I can easily pick the book up, open to any page, and start learning. No need to read it from start to finish if that's not your style. Gallo shows considerable insight into what makes for success. Buy it!

After reading this book for 2 days, i can tell this is the best book about Speech i've ever read. I am hoping someday this will be required reading for every sales executive in different company large and small. the book is well organized and well research, my copy is mostly hightlited in every pages, notes everywhere. good job, carmine.

I both enjoyed and learned a great deal from reading Carmine Gallo's 10 Simple Secrets Of The World's Greatest Business Communicators.
Carmine's words and sentences are "turbo-charged" with right-on-target examples and no-nonsense information from page 1 through page 226. I strongly recommend this book to my family members, friends, colleagues ... and, yes, even to my "enemies." After all ... who wants to sit through another presentation that's more "sedative" than "seductive.!!
