The Ultimate Companion Guide to Anime!.......1999-12-18

If you're looking for the perfect companion to keep you informed in the anime movie buisness, then this is the book for you. Not only does it contain titles on every anime movie or series between 1983 to 1995, but it also gives you your money's worth of information. From important people that had to do with the anime, to translations for beginners, a short summary of the anime, references to other anime, and side notes to keep your interest. Every anime that this book has recommended is a must see. This is a great book if you're looking for an anime but don't know whether or not to see it. It still brings a tear to my eyes.

An excellent source for reviews and opinions of anime........1998-10-06

The Anime: movie guide, has a wonderful display of illustrations, reviews and information protruding from its pages. Although it is in great need of an update now, it has a wonderful selection of top ten lists, a very well made index and even a few helping words to get the new anime fan started. An excellent layout and page format. The only area I disliked was the way the categories were placed, I felt the icons on The Complete Anime Guides were much easier to use. Despite this negative area, The Anime: Movie Guide by Helan McCarthy is truly a book in which all anime fans should partake in.

Not COMPLETELY complete, but pretty darn close........1997-12-06

If you ever needed to look up an anime OVA or movie title, be it the original Japnese title of it's English translation, you could probably find it here. I've only noticed one omission, but found a lot of other titles I've never heard of.

MORE BEAUTIFUL OCEAN DENIZENS.......2006-03-08

In the third volume of the Gallery Girls Mermaids series, SQP has once again assembled and host of amazingly talented pin-up artists to render those mysterious and beautiful creatures of the sea. We start with a gorgeously painted cover by Pelaez and you know right away that you are in for a treat for the eyes! Pelaez also contributes a number of interior illustrations including a lovely nude mermaid smiling and holding a seashell as dolphins play all around her. Julio Cesar gives us a dumbstruck fisherman in a rowboat watching as a mermaid is about to swallow his bait. Claudio Aboy, one of the newest SQP stars provides a breathtakingly beautiful blonde lying nude upon the shore in one of the best pieces in the entire book.

Anibal Maraschi takes things a bit more visceral with her nude fish-woman who is riding a large, prehistoric fish with large fangs. Perla Perlucky contributes a bit of a variation on the traditional mermaid with her part woman/part sea urchin lounging deep in the ocean's depths. Danilo Guida gives us a sexy illustration as two voluptuous mermaids tear the clothes off a female diver. An all mermaid heavy metal band is the subject of a piece by Ponce. Also included in this latest volume are illustrations by Arantza, Dario Hartman, Marcelo Sosa, Alejandro Colucci, and more. 64 more pages of some of the most bedeviling creatures a man has ever laid his eyes on.

entertaining writing, but little unique to this book.......2006-12-05

This book is a collection of Krassner's writings for High Times, the New York Press, and AVN Online, along with a few others. I've read a lot of Krassner's work, and there was a lot here that was quite familiar--many of the stories are ones he has told elsewhere. If you've already read his autobiography, Confessions of a Raving, Unconfined Nut; his Murder at the Conspiracy Convention and Sex, Drugs, and the Twinkie Murders, there will only be a little that's new here.

The book is unfortunately poorly edited, with numerous uncorrected typos which should have been spotted even by automated spellchecking.

The organization of Martin's book should be better, and the instuctive games presented, including one of Martin's own against Shaw, aren't all that instructive. I liked Martin's 2004 book on the Center Counter, but this take on the Hippo is too slight and too rushed; and Martin completely ignores any White line including pawn to c4. To say something positive: there is a worthwhile chapter on the Austrian-style attack vs. the Hippo. If you are looking for info on the Hippo, I suggest Tiger Hillarp Persson's book: Tiger's Modern. It contains a chapter devoted to the Hippo that highlights the strategic ideas for both White and Black.

For the past 4 years working in an Investment Bank I've read many business plans.
Don't expect too much from this reading. I'll recommend it just to beginners.

A very consise and well written guide. An excellent reference to have at your side while writing a business plan. I find it extremely useful. My only complaint is on the poor graphics in the book, especially since the author repeatedly stresses the importance of graphics in a business plan.

A simple and illustrative business plan manual, providing vital layout, advise to enhance high points, which every plan requires.
