It's obvious that "Sunkissed" is a labor of love. A nostalgic look at the glamor that was once Hollywood, "Sunkissed" is a trip back in time. The author, Joshua Curtis, captures the essance of the golden age of motion pictures with brilliant color layouts, original photographs and accurate text. This is one of those rare books that should occupy a perminant spot on the shelf because it will never become dated or out of style. A pure joy for any fan of the 1930s and 40s.

Great photos, lots of them--my only wish is it went up to 1959 and included more of the 50's. Not many of these beauties look that tan so 'sun kissed' is a good term. If you're looking for a good resource for period bathing suits this is it.

This is a book that any classic movie fan will love. It is filled with gorgeous photos of movie stars modeling swimwear. Many of the photos are in color and I have never seen them published anywhere else. Paulette Goddard, Betty Grable, Carole Landis, Gene Tierney, Marie McDonald, and Marilyn Monroe are among the many actresses featured in this terrific book. There is also a nice forward written by Ann Rutherford.

Except your credits are bit off.
All of the editors you've listed are actually artists who contributed the art, comics and articles to the book.
The editors of Expo 2000 were Tom Devlin, Chris Oarr, Christian Panas, Jeff Alexander, Karon Flage, Greg McElhatton and Charles Brownstein.
The book is an annual anthology produced by the Expo/SPX in conjunction with the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund as a fund raiser for the CBLDF. Oni Press is not the publisher.

An anthology of about 70 short works, there's no more economical way to sample such a wide range of comic book talent today. The standouts in this collection are by Dave Choe, Craig Thompson (Good-bye, Chunky Rice), Chris Ware (Acme Novelty Library), and David B.
$7 for 352 pages is a steal.

For those of you planning a wedding, this is a way to take a fresh look at the whole process. Mimi Pond's book takes a slightly skewed look at the whole process that makes you laugh, and relieves some of the tension of the whole affair. While having never been married myself, I've watched others plan weddings, and lent it to numerous people -- they all enjoyed it as well. So remember to laugh while you plan your wedding! This book inspired me to finally organize my boxes and boxes of pictures. I have three kids, and all of the past 10 years of photos were in file boxes. I hadn't even put my wedding photos from 18 years ago in an album. This book helped me figure out some themes for albums and some completely new ways to embellish and enrich the pages. I even made each daughter her own scrapbook of baby pictures, complete with locks of hair, baby teeth and foot prints. They just love them.

Rebecca and Jennifer have taken a lot of the stress out of learning to scrapbook. This book reads as though the two women are sitting next to you and gently guiding you along. Although I'm a seasoned scrapper, I found new ideas and new techniques I want to try. Best of all, the tone of the book was inspiring and helpful, which is exactly what a how to book should be.
Of all the many scrapbooking books I own, this is probably the most complete in terms of the areas covered. I picked up a great idea from the "Get Organized" section. The addition of computer tips was super--just enough without making it feel like you HAD to use your computer or you couldn't scrapbook. I also liked the section on mini and theme scrapbooks.
All in all, this book is a classic that deserves a place on every scrapbooker's bookshelf!

Whether you are a serious eBay seller who wants to expand your business, or if you are someone new to the auction industry who wants to start a new business - this is the book for you! I found this book to be simultaneously light-hearted and informative, which is hard to do when writing about business topics. Then again, it is about eBay! My copy of this book has become quite dog-eared and marked up as I constantly refer to it time and again, but I love it. The writers go into a lot of detail about the technical and business sides of running an eBay business without regurgitating the same information found in other eBay books. They provide fresh concepts and great ideas that sellers will be inspired by.

This book was a very easy read, full of very helpful information. I didn't want to mark it, so I could re-sell it. But, this book is a keeper. I'm going to refer to it from time to time. It is just full of great information and ideas that I hope to put into motion. I've been only selling since July 2005, so I'm still on a very steep learning curve. This book is going to help me quite a bit, as soon as I can put some of these great ideas into effect. This is a clear, easy-to-read, comprehensive book about how to sell on eBay. The authors make the technical stuff easy to understand. This is a great book for anyone, regardless of their experience level, who wants to sell on eBay either by starting a new business or adding eBay sales to an existing business. Well worth the time and money.

I was refered to this book by a rating, which rated it the best book of the month. Boy, were they right!! I am about to order another book for a friend...that is how much I love it, that I would rather buy one for her than lend mine out right now. It's a resource I don't want to be without for even a minute.
My store is almost 2 weeks old. I have made over $300 in sales and by years end hoping to add a few zeros to that number.
The thing is, I LOVE shopping on eBay, I love taking pictures, I love bargain hunting...and ofcourse passing on the savings to my customers and future customers. I have to be honest, some of the stuff I find, I like to much to sell and end up having to go for seconds. Then again, I love shopping, so this was totally up my alley.
I also have been a photo buff since I was 15, so I love taking pictures and editing them...it's like art work to me. I then get to share. I am still working on getting some more photo props and a tripod which will make life easier, and photography of merchandise more fun.
I am at an advantage, though; I live in NY so I have tons of wholesalers and manufacterers in this Metro area. It's just a matter of finding the right ones.
Right now, I am still in research phase. So far, so good.
Don't give up, if you like this sort of thing...it can really work for you. I am living it, right now and enjoying every minute.
