Simply the best cartoonist around today........1999-02-26

Wiley takes up where "Bloom County" left off, both in artistic skill and satire of the world we live in. Scott Adams may have the masses fooled, but for those of discerning taste, Wiley's "Non Sequitur" is far superior. You will enjoy all of his books, and especially his web site. I am positively addicted to it. A new book coming out is a great thrill ( promised this fall-"Beastly things").

As a garage cartoonist and collector or humorist art, I put Wiley at the top of my list for wit and drawing style. His work reminds me that of "Booth"

Excellent book. The more honest book about psycology of women ever. I got it from a female friend, women enjoy it, but men will enjoy and learn from it.

From the book I learned and confirmed so much about being in a relationship with a woman (Mother, girlfriend, syster, daughter, wife, coworker). This book reflects in a humorous, concise and graphical way, the daily and simple adventures of modern women, while getting bottom line without offending anybody.

This book would prevent many problems between couples beforehand. Maitena goes deep into the reality of every possible serious situation from dating to parenting with the magic of creating laughs as eventually you will get yourself in it ( and hopefully safe out of it).

Maitena the argentinian female writer is a master of words and painting. I hope the english translation be ready soon.

This book provides a fascinating read about an area the author correctly labels ignored: What presidents did after retirement. Written in a fashion made for the general public, with brief summeries of each president, anecdotes, and unique things about each post-presidentail career, this manages to be informative without being a scholarly work. However, he frequently punctures his analysis with political opinion that will annoy across the political spectrum; but if you find this book for cheap, it is worth a read.

If you know how to use Windows XP, then this book isn't for you. About 20% of the book is aimed specifically at using the Tablet PC, the rest is basic operating system information that anyone who knows how to use Windows XP should know. This book was basically a review of Windows XP concepts with a couple chapters focused specifically on the Tablet PC.

Good, but now a bit out of date.......2004-05-16

The book is well-written, fairly thorough, and deals with all of the main aspects of the Tablet PC. It is lacking, however, in Office 2003 application discussions.

There have been numerous changes in Office 2003 that afect the Tablet PC, and this book should be updated to include them.

It's one of the thicker books at over 400 pages, but it doesn't talk about a lot of the newer hardware and software that is covered in books such as "Absolute Beginner's Guide to Tablet PCs."

I've read all of the Tablet PC books, and this is good, but may deal a bit too much in the standard Windows XP side to be as useful for Tablet PC users.

Don't get me wrong - there is lots of material on Tablet PC-specific usage, just not scenarios on how to effectively use the Tablet PC, or detailed information on the more esoteric applications and hardware accessories.

Excellent Resource.......2003-06-18

This is an excellent resource for tablet PC users...I made sure every employee in my office with the new tablets got a copy of this book...it explains everything clearly, including how to use software and the special features of the tablet pc.

Highly recommended for anyone with a new Tablet PC -- especially since the tablet pc's themselves come with next to nothing in the way of "how to" documentation.
