This book is really good. I use it as a quick reference for a lot of things I learned in school. It is a quick reference for review of things I have learned (and not used in a while), and towards the end, it refreshes your memory on how to measure things. This book would be REALLY good for a beginner in electronics too!

THE BEST WIRELESS BOOK IN MY LIBRARY.......1999-01-17

I was looking for a wireless book that explained RF in a simple and concise manner. The RF Handbook fits that bill perfectly: no complicated formulas, just easy-to-understand text, diagrams and schematics for beginners to experts. It is a perfect reference book for all wireless people as well. I wish all technical books were like this. I hope the author writes another book on similar technical subjects soon... Keep up the good work!

Pops Will Salute Sons Who Give This Book.......2004-06-15

This swift gift book is cute, and is filled with pictures of our favorite stooges with fun taglines. Constructed to be a Father's Day gift from a son to a dad, it will bring a few chuckles and smiles. Many of the pictures are in standard Stooge calenders. The writing is not particularly funny for anyone over 12. Fans of the Stooge shorts will recognize where the captured frames were first shown.

The limits of any Stooge print product is it misses the master delivery by Moe, Larry and Curly, and even the late-comer Stooges, Shemp, Joe ad CurlyJoe. A good thwap on the forehead isn't able to be retold in a printed picture.

The Stooges are an American icon as much as Elvis, Snoopy and Mickey Mouse. Few parts of popular culture can be enjoyed by both father and son as the Stooges, helping making this book an worthy gift from a younger boy looking to please Pop.

I fully recommend "Pop, Your" Poifect"! A Three Stooges Salute to Dad" by Patrick Regan.

POP, YOU'RE POIFECT is a great gift to give to a dad. Most men love watching The Three Stooges, especially fathers. The book is like a giant card filled with photos of the stooges in some of their most hilarious moments. This is a wonderful, inexpensive gift for any father. It's also a nice present for any Three Stooges fan.

A 3 Stooges tribute.......2003-01-26

This was a cute little present I recently got for my birthday. It actually is a combination greeting card and book in a testimonial to dads. There is a wonderful array of black and white photos of the unparalleled kings of slapstick comedy featuring the Three Stooges. Under each photo is an appropriate saying in appreciation for being such a special father.

Being a big and long time fan of Moe, Larry, Curly & Shemp, I go a real kick out of seeing the boys in some of their most memorable scenes.

It has a great variety of vocal selections. If you want modern, rock musical stuff though, this is definitely not the right choice. I think that, since this is soprano, they have put much of the music into a slightly higher key (when compared to the sheet music for the musicals themselves).

A good book of musical theater songs.......2007-05-12

I'm a teenager and I'm using Musical Theater Anthology volume 3 as one of my books in voice lessons. It contains musical theater songs that some people might not have heard of, but all the songs are very good. At the same time it includes many well known songs. My only complaint is some of the accompianment is a little strange and some of the keys of the songs are weird. Other then that its a great book!

I only say that the review titled, "Some Fantastic Unknown Songs!" is inappropriate, because those are NOT the songs in this volume. I bought this volume thinking I would get the songs like "Moonfall" and "Unusual Way," but I didn't. This book is great don't get me wrong; I'll still get a lot out of it. Just don't read reviews thinking they are totally accurate.

Even after a year of heafty exploring in the genre of musical theatre, I feel as though I have only brushed the first layer off and have dozens more to go. PErhaps this is why I can't appreciate this more. The book's not bad at all, I just don't know most of these songs!
HOwever, when it comes down to it, I have to say the arrangements here are FABULOUS! Songs from Phantom, Les Miz, and Jekyll and Hyde(all my favorites) are arranged well for solo performance, and my particular favorite "IN his Eyes", though it does not contain the gorgeous duet part or characters, makes it easy to pick and change to a solo piece. In fact the arrangement is ten times better than the actual song book version.
Overall, definitely a great book to own; highly recommended from a theatre geek!

It's best to purchase all 3 of each anthology - I find Vol. 2 to be the best selection, but since each song is in the original key, it's a far cry from the pablum of typical "vocal selections" available. The only drawback - all the good audition pieces are showing up in these, and now everything's getting overused! :P

This book is thoroughly researched and footnoted, with an extensive bibliography and scholarly content, yet is interesting and accessible to the lay person. Fascinating trivia is included; photos are unusual and interesting too - for example, a b/w close-up of Ronald Reagan at his first job, a radio announcer in Davenport, Iowa.

Detailed but concise and extremely well-written, the author covers the background of radio and lessons learned (or lessons we COULD learn) as they apply to today's media conglomerates and Federal regulators in the chapter "A Legacy Lost."

Outstanding nonfiction reading and well worth the price.

...I'm a bit biased, but having seen the competition in bookstores, I can honestly say that this book packs more hacks per page with more details and more interesting projects than anything else I've seen. The book is a good balance between beginning level bits explaining how to get the most out of regular use of the PSP, troubleshooting problems with the PSP, peripheral hacks explaining how to build your own case for the PSP or an articulating stand for the PSP complete with AC adapter, hacks that will let you share one UMD disk among several friends (either for individual free play or to share a wireless game) and play games over the Internet with a long-distance friend, and more advanced hacks, like full disassembly and reassembly instructions, instructions for adding an external wifi antenna to boost your PSP's wireless range, and even programming your own home brew code or building and programming an infrared peripheral interface.

If you like your PSP and you like tinkering, you should buy my book. It's 281 pages of useful tips, tricks, and hacks written by myself and contributors like Phillip Torrone and Seth Fogie. Check it out.
