Multi-Level Money: The Complete Guide to Generating, Closing & Working With All the People You Need to Make Real Money Every Month in Network Marketing

Dr. Lant tells it like it is!.......2000-12-30
One reviewer said that Lant is just trying to get people to join his MLM, but he did say that he doesn't believe that people should only join his MLM. He only said to join after trying many times to get the CEO of the MLM company you are in to follow the techniques he learned the hard way. Even if you join his, he wants you to review it and to get the "sign up and wait for the quick gauranteed commission checks to pour in" attitude. He even admits that he made that mistake.
According to Lant, you need to find a MLM company that really wants to help distributors, has suggestions, doesn't require you to buy products/pay monthly fees, follows Legal guidelines, and that you need to learn how to keep on top of your downline.
He does seem rude, but he even admits that he is very tenacious! That is what is takes to get what you want out of life.
Get this before you begin in MLM.......2000-04-17

Disappointed.......2003-10-08
The page book is 120 pages, not 192. Further, it is written in 12(?) type font, double-spaced with the widest of margins (yes, the same trick we used in college).
The idea of the book excited me. I expected so much this book doesn't deliver. Unfortunately, it discusses finance positions only in the broadest sense. In addition, it focuses on entry-level positions or lower level positions. In fact, after only a few pages, I decided the book was useless. I bought another book, which had short 2 to 3-page summaries of jobs. It provided me with more information than this book. I would expect I will not be the only one to send this book back.

Saving the Bay: People Working for the Future of the Chesapeake
Ann E. Dorbin Manufacturer: The Johns Hopkins University Press ProductGroup: Book Binding: Hardcover ASIN: 0801866286 |
Book Description
For centuries before the arrival of European settlers, the Chesapeake Bay's natural bounty and pristine beauty were self-sustaining. Today, after three centuries of human use and abuse, almost everyone agrees that the Bay is fragile and its future uncertain. As scientists work to understand the environmental threats and policy makers respond with new regulations, ordinary people are increasingly doing their part to ensure a healthier future for the Chesapeake. Saving the Bay gathers dozens of these stories and brings them forward as examples of how broadly the coalition to protect the Bay has grown and succeeded.
Through engaging photographs by Richard A.K. Dorbin and moving first-person accounts compiled by Ann E. Dorbin, this book celebrates a new chapter in the history of the Bay, one in which people in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Delaware, West Virginia, and New York work hand in hand to shape the future of a beloved resource. From Americorps volunteer Julie Benintendi's work with shoreline restoration to Mike Ogburn's efforts to build a non-polluting electric car, from the mountainous outer reaches of the watershed to the mouth of the Bay, the people working for the Chesapeake are as diverse and dynamic as the resource itself. Here are teachers, engineers, writers, farmers, parents, and naturalists working with grit and imagination. Saving the Bay demonstrates how these unprecedented efforts throughout the Chesapeake Bay region are making a real difference toward creating a better future.
"By bringing these stories to the forefront, we hope to educate readers, show that individual actions are critical, and accentuate positive rather than negative human impacts on the environment. Just as the wonder of the Bay is not reserved for experts or old-timers, neither is the work that lies ahead. Therein lies the premise of this project--that behind the reports and controversy over the human-induced decline of the Bay's health and the path of its future, are many people doing their part, in different and necessary ways, for the future of the watershed." -- from Saving the Bay

It's All True: A Novel of Hollywood
David Freeman Manufacturer: Simon & Schuster ProductGroup: Book Binding: Hardcover Similar Items:
ASIN: 0743249755 |
Book Description
Henry Wearie is a man with a brilliant future behind him.
He arrived in Hollywood barely twenty-one, having escaped from a confusing family and New York University. He got hot fast, selling a big-money script. He was on his way up -- though not quite as far up as he had expected. Henry stalled in the middle, then fell from there. As he puts it, "I've been hotter and colder than my oven."
It's All True maps Henry's odyssey through a tantalizing Los Angeles that he loves and resents, a place where he always feels one phone call, one script, or one break away from the brass ring that circles in and out of his grasp.
He marries and divorces and never quite stops yearning for his ex-wife. He spends his days trying to resurrect the life that he let slip away. Then his faltering career gets an unexpected jolt from an old girlfriend who has been promoted into the upper reaches of a studio. She helps Henry, though she extracts a surprising price.
When the money had been flowing, Henry bought a Jaguar that has gone from gleaming to dented, a constant reminder of his own fallen state. His life has careened from the glamorous to the quotidian, from erotic adventures on location to slow mornings spent with out-of-work buddies at Hollywood's venerable Farmers Market.
His friends are a motley crew of wiseguy screenwriters, once-popular directors, obscure actors, and famous and highhanded producers and film stars identifiable to most everyone.
In creating Henry's saga, veteran novelist and screenwriter David Freeman has written an intimate history of Hollywood over the last twenty-five years, viewed from inside the soundstages, the bedrooms, the fashionable restaurants, and the studio meetings where fortunes can turn on a chance word.
This is a book studded with the delicious details of the folkways of the movie business and the romantic customs of its denizens. Enlivened by Freeman's corrosive wit, It's All True is hilarious and touching and, astonishingly, absolutely all true.
Customer Reviews:
Highly literate and amusing.......2006-05-03
Business as usual.......2004-09-11
A nice diversion but nothing that special.......2004-06-07
There's nothing really wrong with that, however, and Freeman does do a few things that are somewhat out of the ordinary. The plot involves non-linear shifts in time and manages to tie in common threads well. It also tries to give an honest glimpse of the life of a writer at the bottom of the Hollywood food chain but again, doesn't do anything that hasn't been seen before. Lastly, Freeman deserves some credit for consistency in the sense that he explores Henry's personal relationships with some detail and the characters are all inherently believable.
Overall the book was a good two or three day read but it's nothing to rave about.
The Real Hollywood.......2004-05-08
My one complaint about the book is through the use of flashbacks the book can be confusing as to where you are in time from where the novel starts. This book is funny and sad. If you like to feel emotion in a novel, this will fill the bill. My only mild complaints would be that there are so many characters introduced for short interludes it's difficult to get extremely attached to the characters and the aforementioned confusion about time structure.
Hilarious and Authentic.......2004-03-28
