More than you would expect, Accounting and Excel in One.......2007-07-27
Great book, spiral bound, to explain Accounting and Microsoft Excel.
It takes you slowly through the basic concepts of Accounting and at
the same time the basic functions of Excel. Then it graduates to a
deeper level of Accounting and how Excel is used to create financial
reports, all the while showing you almost every button on both the
standard and formatting toolbars of Microsoft Excel. It just doesn't
get much better than this.

The nun completely cracks me up! There were a few times while reading this gem when I thought I would die laughing!
Highly Entertaining.......2005-09-28
A nun in the major leagues? No way! But Hanson makes it happen, and with hilarious results. The combination of burly athletes who aren't always on their best behavior, and a devout Catholic female who insists that they behave, is truly entertaining. I look forward to more books by this author.

I loved this book. The author's got a great sense of humor that carries the story, even in the more serious parts. While it's not likely that we'll see a nun pitching in major league baseball anytime soon, Hanson did his homework and came up with a scenario that could happen: a woman knuckerballer playing major league baseball. Why not? The Spring Habit's got a strong storyline with real conflict. It combines religion and politics and America's favorite pastime. What's not to love?

This book is really a fun read. If you like baseball, it has enough baseball to keep you interested. If you don't like baseball, you'll still enjoy it. Hanson is a really fine writer and the story is funny and moving.

Description:
Food habits of the coyote (Canis latrans) on San Luis Gonzaga Island of Baja California, Mexico were investigated. We collected 239 scat samples for analysis on 14 May 1997. Samples ranged from fresh to approximately 2 months old. Frequency of diet components was 48.9% birds, 21.9% fish, 14.8% plants, 3.6% mammals, 4.0% insects, 0.7% reptiles, 0.5% arachnids, and 5% crustaceans. The last group had not previously been recorded in this region. Great blue herons (Ardea herodias) composed 11% of the diet. Other members of the Ardeidae family accounted for an additional 23.4%. From March through May, the large coyote population on the island depends mainly on scavenging bird carcasses, and has minimal impact on endemic rodent species on the island, some of them listed as threatened by the Mexican government.
