An excellent analysis of how the Justices of the Supreme Court decide whether or not a law (created by Congress or the States) is valid or not. More than just a compilation of majority, concurring and dissenting opinions, this book looks at why the decisions were made, not just what the decisions were. Well worth the money and a fine addition to the library of anyone interested in law or the legislative process.

Excellent review source for neuro-ophthalmology. Hits highlights of important topics, much more concise than the ophthalmology basic science series neuro-ophthalmology book or other texts such as Glaser, walsh & hoyt etc. A must to use for studying for the ophthalmology boards. There are even some surgical diagrams such as the basic steps in performing optic nerve sheath decompression.
And in response to the previous review, Dr. Kline is an ophthalmologist, and the book is geared more toward ophthalmologists than neurologists, although it is certainly beneficial for both.

This book is a brilliant summary of neuro-ophthalmology which is a perfect guide to writing clear essays in exams and useful for sorting out diagnostic issues in the clinic.
Great little review book!.......2002-12-08
Fantastic, skinny little neuro-ophtho review book. Good for neurology residents and the eye guys seem to like it, too. Great chapters on visual fields, and also on ocular motility.

This book on Evolutionary Psychology is a Winner!.......2004-01-04
This book tells it like it is; Survival of the strongest, and prettiest. We do judge a book by its cover when it comes to human behavior. Well-researched. Uses very recent data from the emerging Evolutionary Psychology movement. McCusker preaches body-building as one way for men to reach their full physical potential.
He also urges men to reach their maximum intellectual level. I have taught myself over 20 languages, and I find this part of his message particularly inspiring.
Refreshingly explicit on Sex and other issues. What is most amazing is that the author is a Gay Man yet displays a remarkable understanding of heterosexual relationships. Also, honest and detailed description of what organized religion, particularly Christianity and the Catholic Church have done to destroy the human spirit over thousands of years.
This book has a lot in common with Gene Simmon's Sex Money Kiss. If you liked that bestseller you will find much in this book to be very worthwhile, as well.
Cover art could be improved a bit.

I don't ready sci-fi books ever, but this book is so much fun. I like the parts that take place on earth the best, because it makes the book so funny.

The Dweeb may seem educational at first with descriptions of the galaxy and other planets covering the first chapters. Once Bob's character has developed and president Reynolds take's the center stage, the book begins to question certain political attitudes and figures of our day. Overall this book is si-fi oriented with a twist of satire and an overwhelming amount of humor. This book should be submitted to the show "Politically Incorrect."
Humerous sci-fi satire.......2002-01-27
This novel manages to both entertain and educate, using humour to guide the reader through serious social and ecological issues.The story centres around the dweebs on their home planet coping with social upheaval and the results of squirm production at the expense of the natural flora and fauna. Simultaniously on earth Bob Welch the source of much humour in the novel goes through his daily routine, sleeping at work and spying on his neighbours with hitech cameras.These two worlds collide when the library, the main computer on dweeb connects with the WTS earths computer the two merge in order to become one system and then set about 'improving' the lives of earthians. All things concidered 'The Dweeb' is well worth reading not only for its comic appeal but also as an insight into one possible future of mankind.
