This is a compliment as Volume 1. You must thoroughly practise the exam questions before you go for the exam. Prior task for going to the exam is to practise the questions..!

Do you want to pass the CPA Exam - Use this book.......2000-05-10

Using this book along with Volume I of the same series, will greatly improve you scores on the CPA Exam. These were the only tools I used and I passed on my 2nd time. This is a wonderful resource. Good luck to all striving CPA's.

Excellent.......2002-03-15

This book offers empiric data on the british banking industry and their IT-Architecture. I have got 6 Years of Consulting Experience and this really was one of the most useful books I ever studied.This is applied science at its best,and the empiric data in the book is worth a million $.

There is only one downside: The book states, that banks should stop investing in IT, as "IT creates value for customers but destroys profits". That is something I cannot believe. It seems that these strategy consultants were afraid of IT Consultants snatching their projects.

Concern has arisen in recent years about the potential effects of contaminants on reproduction and development in both human and wildlife populations. As a consequence, considerable attention has been given to various aspects of this broad issue by research scientists, environmental managers, and the general public. It was the purpose of this workshop to bring together experts from the fields of reproductive and developmental biology, environmental toxicology and chemistry, ecology, and risk assessment in order to focus on a key subset of this issue with great ecological significance-effects in both terrestrial and aquatic oviparous vertebrates. The workshop focused on mechanisms of contaminant exposure, effects on reproduction and development, organismal outcomes, and ecological ramifications, culminating in a discussion on ecological risk assessment focused on oviparous vertebrates. It was the intention of this workshop to provide for a clearer focus on reproduc! tive and developmental effects of contaminants on those species that hold the greatest promise for use in prospective and retrospective ecological risk assessments.

Excellent book.......2006-03-24

It's an excellent book. It does chemistry in a much more logical tone, doesn't have the distinct separations that others do. It probably wouldn't serve as a good primary book to use for learning chemistry but it would be a good review book to quickly brush up on the topic. I read bits and parts of it when brainstorming how to teach a HS chemistry class.

"When Curly Won A Cathouse" is, without a doubt, the most enjoyable buddy western since "Lonesome Dove." Life takes a sudden and silly turn for Curly and Pudge, two cowboys who have no money and even less sense, when Curly wins a whorehouse in a poker game. Thinking they've died and gone to heaven, they are ecstatic about their newfound fortune, only to discover that owning a brothel ain't what it's cracked up to be. This book is hysterically funny and bittersweet, especially when Pudge finds love and family values in Curly's den of soiled doves and card cheats. This book is an exquisitely written and fast-paced read. Richard Jensen's westerns will be around for a long time to come.
