The book is an interesting compilation of essays on financial innovation and the convergence of markets. It takes the reader through diverse structures and strategies to take advantage of capital and insurance markets, and shows the benefits of globalization and disintermediation. I found it very useful for practitioners in finance and risk management and for academics.

If you haven't already read the previous 2 reviews, please do so. I won't reiterate the good things that were already said. However, the information provided by Mr. Nadell was more than sufficient enough for me to successfully start a 2nd business as a pre-employment and tenant backgound check service. Thank you Mr. Nadell for clarifying the FCRA statutes for the layman.

A definite MUST HAVE!.......2006-08-31

Starts with general info, including the necessity behind pre-employment background checks for employers, citing statistics regarding falsified employment applications, employee theft & lawsuits, employer turnover costs.

Covers: the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act), with statutes, rules; FTC (Federal Trade Commission) relating to background checks; steps to take before performing a background check, including examples of disclosure forms that violate the law; workplace investigations; electronic signatures; adverse action; timeframes & accuracy of reports; Megan's Law (sex offenders/child molesters); FirstAlert; Social Security Trace; Motor Vehicle Report; References; Credit Reporting; Education Verification; Military Service; Civil Records; Workers' Compensation records; Liens & Judgments; current/past criminal warrants & drug rehab records.

Spike Milligan, professional goon and all round funny man has done it again. Black Beauty according to Spike Milligan is undoubtedly the most hilarious book from beginning to end. What makes this version of Black Beauty different from the others? Its told from the horses point of view. Everything that makes Black Beauty, Black Beauty is thrown right out the window.
You'll soon learn that poor Beauty had a really trying life, occasionally broken by the odd whiskey and oats or the odd kicking, biting and thorough trampling of people he didn't like or really liked. The horse is seriously mixed up yet still good natured. The male readers may wince at certain areas.

On the whole you'll be chuckling, sniggering and rolling around wracked with fits of laughter as Spike Milligan presents Beauty's life as Beauty saw it.
