This is a great book if one wants to get a FULL picture at what are the venues available for Financial Planning, what to take and what to leave. Best of all it is laid out in a no-nonsense style in a very lucid style. Highly recommend this book to get a big picture and then use the web to drill down on the areas you want to concentrate and get more info on. Worth its weight in gold.

No Nonsence Financial Planning.......2000-06-17

This book has been invaluable to me. The information that I received in this book, I hadn't heard before. I realize now that what worked for my parents is not going to work for me and that different strategies are going to be necessary in order to achieve a stress free retirement. I am very thankful that this group of practicing Financial Planners took the time to put their thoughts down on paper.

Dr. Foster's book is required reading for anyone interested in working in a front office of a major sports franchise. Foster provides context, cases, analysis, and methods for addressing the problems and opportunities that confront decision makers in front offices.

Not only is the book exceptionally informative, providing excellent examples and explanations, it's also a fascinating read that can provide a different perspective on how decisions are made (and should be made) in sports. It's rare to have a textbook that's this much fun to read; rarer still that it's actually insightful, valuable, and applicable to the real world.

This isn't just a great textbook -- it's a great book period.

I have read this book with the very exciting feelings ,as reading a good scientific novel. The story bigins with the history of scientific novels as well as the history of the observation on Mars. The central portion of the book would de the argument of the experiments about the possibility of life on Mars. This argument is too deatiled to read the book with patience, but may be of considerable scientific importance. After leaving the story of Mars, this book also refers to the future endevour for searching life in the outer space beyond earth. This book may be best dedecating for amature astronomers or students interested in science.

I am always looking for a good fun read and this was a great one. Growing up in a small town myself, I found it easy to relate and laugh along with many of these stories. I laughed so hard that I started to tear up at a few of her stories. Very well written and put together articles. She tells life as it is with a little twist of humor.
Recomened by me for readers of any age. A MUST READ, MUST HAVE book for any home library.

Good to know it's just not me.......2003-07-30

It is good to know it is just not me these strange and silly happenings in this everyday thing called life. I may be alittle bias, since I know Cindy, but can tell anyone all the stories in this book are true and halarious. She tells it like it is, what everyone thinks but dare not reveal! Alot of heart, soul, and humor are collected in these short stories, something for everyone's enjoyment. A great gift for yourself, or for someone who can laugh at themselves through her eyes.

Does it get any better than this?!.......2003-06-28

This book is an excellent read. The author, "Ms. Hollyred" says exactly what everyone is thinking, but she does it in a way that is inoffensive and hilarious. If you though Survivor was reality TV, then this book is reality LIFE. All I have to say is that I can't wait for the sequel!

Funny short stories... An easy read!.......2003-06-26

The stories are short (mostly a page and a half to two pages in length) which makes them easy to read; they tell of everyday happenings with hilarious results. I can easily relate to these tales, which just makes them just that much funnier; especially since the author says what we all know that we are thinking. :)

This is a great book for anyone! I highly recommend it!
