Learn from one of the best.......2007-07-21

When I ordered this book I was not expecting much. I've been hunting turkeys for 25 years and now spend in excess of 100 days a year scouting and hunting.
I know a lot about turkeys but that only amounts to 1 percent of what I would like to know. Most of what I know has been learned by trial and error and lots of frustrating mistakes. I ordered the book hoping I could learn a little something from someone with much more experience than I have. After all, a few hours spent reading beats days of fruitless hard work and and lots of frustration in the woods.
In a nutshell, I learned a lot from this book. The author is far ahead of me in the learning and knowledge curve.I hunt only on public ground in several western states and hunting can be tough.The author confirms what I know and suspected about turkeys and greatly increased my knowledge. The tactics and strategies he describes will make my future hunts more enjoyable and successful. I highly recommend this book to all hunters. Good Luck.

How do you know when a hunter is lying?.......2004-02-10

Unfortunately the likely answer is 'when his lips are moving'. This old saying mostly applies when there is disagreement in a 'how to' conversation. Ray Eye did not write this book telling how you must hunt to be successful as a turkey hunter, but tells his story of how he does it. I knew after reading what it meant to him to hunt with and the memories of hunting with his grandfather that I found a treasure. Great book, entertaining, and an easy read. A must for old or new gobbler hunters.

Ray Eye has written a great comprehensive book on turkey hunting. This book will appeal especially to beginning turkey hunters, but advanced hunters will enjoy it as well. I loved this book.......2003-06-09

I loved this book and I recomend this book to readers of Lurlene McDaniel. This book ends in a happy feeling for Amber. She has forgiven Eric and won her argument with the school board for a key to the freight elevator. She went and visited the floor she was on in the hospital on Christmas with the band she is in and they performed for the kids on the floor. People who don't like to read books will get hooked on the book and won't be able to put it down.

She is just like other teenager, but not until Eric Moore dated her, her life changed. She cannot walk again, she stayed in the hospital for the summer, when she gone back to school, every thing is hard for her, she had to switch school, but Eric don't wanted her to, so does her friends, so she had to change the school enter's door and every thing is about to change.
Great book, makes me cried so badly when she sings "Yesterday".
