Very good techniques for the beginning football player. Mostly well explained, although some things don't make sense without a point of reference for a beginner (what's your outside hip?).

As the title says, this is a position by position breakdown of useful things to practice and learn for the game of American Football. With an emphasis on the younger player or hack beginner type it isn't too bad a book to have a look at for erstwhile players and coaches to gain a better understanding of some simple fundamentals.

"Play Football the NFL way", has lots and lots of Pictures, drills, coaching terminology, techniques, diagrams, and a step by step guide on how to play every position. It is easy to read and well written. You will not get lost trying to read this book even if your football knowledge is limited.
"Play Football the NFL way" encompasses the Quarterback play, running backs, receivers, offensive line, defensive line, linebackers, defensive backs, and the kicking game. Everything you need to know to teach defensive or offensive basic techniques.
This book has too much information for any new coach to master in any one season. Work with the position/drills that you feel comfortable with and save the others for a later time. Learn a little teach a little. Take your time there is no hurry.
All coaches can benefit from this book at any level, from Youth Leagues to the college.

Tom Bass does a great job in keeping this book simple for junior level coaches. It covers most every aspect of football coaching for youth. The only negative is the age of the book, which degraded my score from 5 to 4 stars. I would immediately purchase an updated book - if it becomes available someday.
The Most Thorough Position Book - A Must Have !!!.......2005-03-22
Once you look at the table of contents you will see that this book is complete. Every position, a ton of variable technique, and information on personal adjustments.
As a youth coach of over 10 years, I feel I may be better prepared to break down the game than I have ever been. Some stratagies are discussed, but mostly this book will enhance your fundamental football knowledge like no book ever written. Get it today, I am certain that you won't be sorry.

It is very easy to get familiarized with the idioms. The step-by-step approach is very convenient and it facilitates the learning process.
With respect to the previous edition more friendly and pleasant to read.

Essential Idioms in English: 5th Edition by Robert J. Dixson.......2005-09-14
This edition is an improvement over the 1992 edition. The same idioms are presented, but the format is easier to read and includes red letters highlighting the idioms. Formerly some of the pages were printed on blue background making it hard to see. These pages are now white. Additional and more interesting exercises are included. The answer key it still there, saving the teacher time. This edition has divided the idioms into beginning, intermediate, and advanced. An excellent book for adults.

What a great resource! This book is broken down into three sections: elementary, intermediate, and advanced. This has been a favorite of mine in all my classrooms: with 1st graders, with non-English learners, and with adults learning to read for the first time.
The phrase is listed, then a definition, then a couple of examples of how it's used. Following a list of ~10 phrases, there is a set of exercises that tests knowledge of the phrase and sentences to fill in the blank.
There is an answer key at the back to allow students independence to check answers.
This is a great teaching and reference tool for all classrooms.

this was another of my all time favourites. this story was really freaky, just the way I like it. After five fall into aventure and five run away together this book comes third. You know its about spook trains. Its just the way that ms.blyton described it, it was really FREAKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Five Go Off to Camp is a great book but in my imagination I do not like the look of Lewis and Tiger Dan! I have read other Famous Five books and liked this one the best. It was very exciting and very risky but the brave Five never stop their adventure. I did not think there would be any thieves in this adventure but something always pops out in their holidays! Don't stop now Five! You have got plenty more adventures to come! If you're sensitive about cruelty to dogs you may not want to read it.

I found this book very exciting. My favourite character is George, who is never afraid of anything, and Timmy the dog who always comes to the rescue. In this story I found the spook trains very spooky, and enjoyed imagining them racing undergrond! However, I did not like the fact that the adventure seemed so short.

This book is completely worth the money... You'll have fun reading it! I got hooked on it right when I started, this book has it all... action, suspense, adventure etc.
